The full name is a descriptive name of a [[block]], [[material]] or other object. 

As the [[name]] of a [[block]] or [[material]] is used in equations it is typically being an abbreviation of the full name or a [[symbol]]. The full name thus serves as an explanation of the [[name]].

If a full name is given to a [[block]], it is used in favour of the [[name]] in both the [[model screen#graph]], in lists and in the [[model screen#interaction matrix]].
